Webforms are a robust feature that allows you to build highly customizable submission forms for your Web Open site. The purpose of this article is to cover the basics of creating, building, and editing Webforms. While many of these tasks are required to create a Webform, adding Pages and/or Layouts to your Webform is optional.

Add a Webform
- Expand the Administration menu on the Dashboard
- Click View All Webforms
- Click Add Webform
- Title the Webform
- Complete the Webform fields, if desired
- Click Save
- Add Layouts, Pages, and/or Elements to the Webform
Add Element(s) to a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Click Add Element
- Locate the desired element and click Add Element
Note: Click Show Preview to display previews of each element type
- Title the Element
- Complete the Element fields
Note: Hover over the Question Mark bubbles for definitions of any element field
- Click Save
- Click Save Elements
Add Page(s) to a Webform
Note: This task is optional, and is not required for a Webform to function properly
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Click Add Page
- Title the page
- Complete the Page fields
Note: Hover over the Question Mark bubbles for definitions of any page field
- Select your Save option
- Save: Save the page fields
- Save + Add Elements: Save the fields, and then Add Element
Add a Layout for a Webform
Note: This task is optional, and is not required for a Webform to function properly
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Click Add Layout
- Enter the Key
- Select an Align items setting
- Complete the Layout fields
Note: Hover over the Question Mark bubbles for definitions of any Layout field
- Select your Save option
- Save: Save the page fields
- Save + Add Elements: Save the fields, and then Add Element
Add Email Notifications and Handlers to a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Select the Emails / Handlers tab
- Click Add Email or Add Handler
- Complete the fields

- Click Save
Add a Confirmation Type to a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Select the Confirmation tab
- Complete the Confirmation Fields
- Click Save
Edit Webform Information
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Complete the Webform Fields
- Click Save
Edit an Element on a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Click Edit next to the desired Element
- Complete the Element fields

Edit a Page on a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Click Edit next to the desired Page
- Complete the Page fields

- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Select the Emails/Handers tab
- Click Edit next to the desired Email or Handler
- Complete the fields

Edit a Confirmation Type on a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Select the Confirmation tab
- Edit the Confirmation fields as necessary
- Click Save
Duplicate a Webform Item
- Expand the Administration menu on the Dashboard
- Click View All Webforms
- Locate the desired webform and click Build
- Locate the desired Layout, Page, or Element and select the Action Menu
- Click Duplicate
- Complete the fields

Delete a Page, Element, or Layout
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Action Menu for the desired Page, Element, or Layout
- Select Delete
- Click Delete
- Click Save Elements
Remove Email Notifications and Handlers from a Webform
- Navigate to the desired Webform
- Select the Settings tab
- Select the Emails/Handlers tab
- Click the Action Menu for the desired Email or Handler
- Select Delete
- Click Delete
- Click Save Handlers
Webform Fields
- Title: The title of the Webform
- Administrative description: The description of the Webform
- Category: The category associated with the Webform
- Status: The open or closed status of the Webform
Confirmation Fields
Note: Hover over the grey question mark icons for definitions of any settings or fields
- Confirmation Type: Select how the page reacts upon successful confirmation
- Confirmation URL: Check the desired Confirmation URL settings
- Confirmation Settings
- Confirmation Title: The page title that is displayed upon successful submission
- Confirmation Message: The message that is displayed upon successful submission
