Create an Ordinance or Resolution
- Expand Create Other
- Click Create Ordinance/Resolution
- Enter a Title
- Select whether the page is for an Ordinance or Resolution
- Complete the rest of the Title and Details fields
- Select the ID and Status tab
- Complete the ID and Status options
- Select the Summary tab
- Enter a detailed summary of the Ordinance or Resolution
- Select the Dates tab
- Complete the Dates fields
- Add File(s), if desired
- Publish the Ordinance or Resolution, if desired
- Click Save
Edit an Ordinance or Resolution
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Edit
- Make the necessary edits
- Select the Advanced tab
- Detail any edits made in theRevision log
- Publish or Unpublish the Ordinance or Resolution to publish any changes
- Click Save
Copy an Ordinance or Resolution
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Clone
- Make any edits as necessary
- Publish the Ordinance or Resolution, if desired
- Click Save
View Ordinance or Resolution Page Revisions
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Revisions
- View the list of previous revisions
Revert an Ordinance or Resolution Page to a Previous Version
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Revisions
- Select Revert to revert the Event page to a previous version
- Select Revert to confirm the revision
Publish or Unpublish an Ordinance or Resolution
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Edit
- Select the Publishing tab
- Complete the Publishing options
- Published: Check or uncheck the box publish or unpublish respectively
- Publish On: Select a date and time to publish the event at a later date
- Unpublish On: Select a date and time to automatically unpublish the event
- Click Save
Delete an Ordinance or Resolution
Important Note
Only Site Admins can perform this function. This action cannot be undone.
Instructions
- Navigate to the desired page
- Click Delete
- Click Delete to confirm the deletion
Note: This action cannot be undone
Title and Details Fields
- Title: Enter a title for the Ordinance or Resolution
- Ordinance/Resolution: Click the appropriate button

Summary: Enter a brief summary of the Ordinance or Resolution
Note: This field only appears if you click Edit Summary
- Details: Enter the contents of the Ordinance or Resolution
ID and Status Options
- Ordinance/Resolution ID: Enter the ID number of the Ordinance or Resolution

Ordinance/Resolution Status: Select the appropriate status of the Ordinance or Resolution
- Adopted: The Ordinance or Resolution has been adopted
- Awaiting Decision: The Ordinance or Resolution is awaiting a decision
- Failed: The Ordinance or Resolution failed
- Postponed: The Ordinance or Resolution has been postponed to a later date
- Pulled: The Ordinance or Resolution was pulled
- Reconsidered: The Ordinance or Resolution is being reconsidered
- Rescinded: The Ordinance or Resolution has been rescinded
Dates Fields
- Introduction Date: Date the Ordinance or Resolution is introduced
- Postponed Until: Date the Ordinance or Resolution is postponed to
- Public Hearing Date: The public hearing date of the Ordinance or Resolution
- Adopted Date: The date the Ordinance or Resolution is adopted
