We are excited to announce the launch of updated product names, logos, and headers within our user interfaces as part of the CivicPlus® Solution Rebranding initiative. While the functionality you rely on remains unchanged, we are in the process of updating screenshots and other resources on our Help Centers to reflect the new branding. Link to a File or Webpage in a Free-Form Section

Note that the Free-Form section is also referred to as the Body or Description within a template.

 

If linking to a PDF...

  1. Find the Path for the uploaded file on the Department homepage Cabinet
  2. Copy the Path URL listed in the third column of the cabinet
  3. Open and edit the webpage, then go to the Free-Form section
  4. Select or enter text, then highlight the text that will be hyperlinked
  5. While the text is left highlighted, In the Edit toolbar, select the Link option
  6. In the Link window that appears, paste the copied Path into the URL field.
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Save and Close

 

If linking to another website...

  1. Open your browser and go to the actual webpage on the website
  2. Copy the URL path from the URL box at the top of the browser window
  3. Open and edit the webpage, then go to the Free-Form section
  4. Select or enter text, then highlight the text that will be hyperlinked
  5. While the text is left highlighted, In the Edit toolbar, select the Link option
  6. In the Link window that appears, paste the copied URL Path into the URL field.
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Save and Close
