Note that the Free-Form section is also referred to as the Body or Description within a template.
If linking to a PDF...
- Find the Path for the uploaded file on the Department homepage Cabinet
- Copy the Path URL listed in the third column of the cabinet
- Open and edit the webpage, then go to the Free-Form section
- Select or enter text, then highlight the text that will be hyperlinked
- While the text is left highlighted, In the Edit toolbar, select the Link option
- In the Link window that appears, paste the copied Path into the URL field.
- Click OK
- Click Save and Close
If linking to another website...
- Open your browser and go to the actual webpage on the website
- Copy the URL path from the URL box at the top of the browser window
- Open and edit the webpage, then go to the Free-Form section
- Select or enter text, then highlight the text that will be hyperlinked
- While the text is left highlighted, In the Edit toolbar, select the Link option
- In the Link window that appears, paste the copied URL Path into the URL field.
- Click OK
- Click Save and Close
