We are excited to announce the launch of updated product names, logos, and headers within our user interfaces as part of the CivicPlus® Solution Rebranding initiative. Create Event(s)
Title (required): Enter text that will be displayed at the top of the page when people click on the Event for more detailed information.
Event Type (required): Select the type of event from the drop-down menu. The options to choose from are Community Event, Event, Holiday, and Public Meeting.
Event Date (required)
Show End Date check box
Event Date and Time
To Event Date and Time
Optional Repeat check box for reoccurring events
Note: If the Repeat checkbox is checked off, the Repeat section will automatically appear with drop-down options and fields to complete based on how often the Event is scheduled to Repeat.
Body: Free-form area where you type or paste the Event details information that will be displayed on a webpage when someone clicks on an event (functions similar to Microsoft Word or the message section for email).
Address
Location name of event: Label like “Town Hall”, “Highway Station”, or “Parks Department”
Note: All other fields are standard address fields and display in the order seen. Please be as specific as possible when entering addresses, Google Maps automatically creates a location link. Click Save upon completion of fields.
File Attachments: To attach a file(s) to an event.
