What's new in May 2024?
Drupal Migration Training Webinar
We’re sure you’re wondering what to expect with the migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 and we have you covered. On June 11th, 2024 we will be hosting a LIVE webinar that will outline what to expect with your migration, when you’ll be hearing from us, and other options you have related to this effort. Julie Bolton (Solution Manager), Justin Hammon (Associate General Manager) and Kaitlyn Berry (Solution Engineer) will be presenting and answering questions live. If you’d like to attend, register here.
What else can I do to prepare?
- You can help yourself and your fellow Drupal users by preparing your site for the migration. Need some guidance? Dave Fels, our manager of Project Management, has put together a short video providing tips to clean up your site before the migration. You can watch that here.
- A project manager will contact you directly when your site is ready. You MUST act on that email. This person may not be familiar to you but will assist you in the final steps to ensure your migration is handled smoothly. If you have questions, please reply to this email or reach out to your Client Success Manager directly.
Do you recommend training in the new system?
- Yes! Drupal 10 has made great improvements to the user experience, but it WILL be different than what you use today.
- What is different/new? Back again is Dave Fels with a short video to showcase some of the biggest changes. You can watch that here.
- Videos: We encourage you to be proactive with the training by reviewing our videos online.
What other options do I have?
I'm glad you asked! CivicPlus offers a few different website products. If you’re like many of our clients, you’re always looking for ways to improve your day-to-day tasks. Julie Bolton, our Solution Manager, and Kaitlin Berry, our Solution Engineer, have a quick video showing how our Web Central platform helps customers solve their website needs compared to our Drupal product, Web Open. You can watch that here.
