The following Drupal Migration Update was emailed on January 5, 2024.
Happy New Year from the CivicPlus Drupal Migration Team! We trust your holiday season brought joy and relaxation to you and your team. As part of our commitment to keeping you informed, this email serves as our monthly update on the ongoing Drupal Migration. Kindly ensure that our communications from drupalmigration@civicplus.com are whitelisted, and feel free to forward this information to all relevant departments within your organization.
What is the Drupal Migration?
As of January 5, 2025, Drupal 7, the core software supporting your current municipal website, will reach the end of its life and support. Our migration process is designed to alleviate the challenges associated with this upgrade, with our primary goal being a seamless and successful transition of your website. Our focus is on ensuring your website retains its expected appearance and resident functionality throughout the migration.
January 2024 Updates
We're excited to share that we have initiated the migration process for the second group of customers! As a reminder, we are migrating over 1,500 municipalities from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. To maintain a smooth process, we've organized you all into project groups, and we will notify you promptly when your project is initiated from this email address.
If you are no longer responsible for the website, kindly reply to this email, and your Client Success Manager will guide you through the next steps. For the latest information, we will update the Municipal Websites Open Help Center, where we will keep a log of all customer communications. Make sure to 'Follow' these articles to stay informed between our monthly emails.
Wishing you a fantastic start to the New Year! We look forward to continued collaboration and are eager to speak with you again soon.
