To ensure the smoothest transition possible, it’s important that you prepare now by cleaning up old and unused content on your existing Drupal 7 website.
Your staff is best positioned to determine which pages, images, files, and videos are outdated and may need to be unpublished and, or, deleted. If you are having difficulty revising or deleting any content or data, please make a note of it and discuss it with your CivicPlus representative during your migration planning session.
The following are some guidelines for completing some of these tasks:
- Review older Content (such as Pages or News posts) to assess if it’s valuable and used by residents or if it should be unpublished, and then deleted
- Remove/delete old, unpublished content
- Review Webforms

- Review Events and News

- Review Images

- Review Quick Links and Directories
